Granada International School operates with the approval and authorization of the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education (MINED). We have been working with their approval since August 2012 when we opened the school under the name of Sacuanjoche International School.
We are also planning to apply for accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) but have to be in operation for two complete years before we can begin the application process. We meet and exceed the standards of both Nicaragua and the United States to facilitate the transition of grades between schools in different countries. As we receive further licensing, the certificates will be posted here.
Granada International School aims to engage each student in a creative, experiential, and bilingual learning environment to uncover the maximum intellectual, artistic, and physical potential of each student.
